The 2023 Golden Disc Awards held at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) was marred by riots by several fans. Some of the recorded incidents by netizens showed several individuals who were suspected to be from South Korea engaging in verbal altercations, and even pushing GDA staff until they fell.

A man from South Korea who is suspected to be one of the sellers of idol photos challenged one of the staff members. He even uttered profanities in Korean.
Not only did he swear, he also tried to physically attack the GDA staff in front of him. Luckily, he was immediately apprehended and taken away.
Being held by two people apparently didn't stop him from causing trouble. Even when he was dragged out of the arena, he continued to resist and curse.
