Sofia Chwe recently denied rumors that she prefers one SEVENTEEN member over the others through her private social media live broadcast.
During her broadcast, Sofia read comments from viewers. One of them was a question asking Sofia to choose between DK and Vernon.
In response to the question, Sofia instead asked back, "Are you really asking me to choose between one of my older brother's friends [and] my own brother? Seriously? Seriously? Seriously?"
The question immediately reminded Sofia of the rumors circulating among Carats, one of them about DK, "Everyone thinks I'm obsessed with DK. I need to address this issue."
Sofia explained that a viewer asked if she likes DK when she's doing a live broadcast. She answered by reflecting on the fact that she likes all the members equally.
"Someone asked, 'Sofia, do you like DK?' So I answered, 'Yes, of course. I like DK.' Because I like all of them [SEVENTEEN members],'" Sofia expressed during her live broadcast.
However, Sofia's words were twisted by some people, leading many to believe that she has a crush on DK. Sofia immediately dismissed the rumors by saying, "He is my brother's friend... no."
After her clarification, many SEVENTEEN fans gathered to support Sofia and asked everyone to respect her privacy as a regular person and to stop asking about her brother's group.
