Serin Jo shared the beginning of her career as a translator at various Korean artists' events because she was offered by her friend who works at a television station.

"Initially, I had a friend who happened to work at one of the private television stations. Coincidentally, he needed a translator and he only remembered me," said Serin Jo.

"So, I started translating artists from there. Previously, I had translated things like business or events, normal documents," she added.

She vividly remembers the first time she became a translator for Korean artists, namely Super Junior M, at a television station's anniversary event. "2014. That was when I really appeared on TV translating for Super Junior M. It was the anniversary of that television station," said Serin Jo.

From the many artists she has met, Serin Jo said that each of them has their own character, which makes them memorable. However, she was deeply touched when a Korean artist remembered her after meeting several times. Like Park Bo Gum and Jackson GOT7.

"Every artist has their own uniqueness according to me so they all leave an impression. Usually, they can remember people after meeting them a few times. Sometimes we think that artists meet a lot of people but it's heartwarming when they can remember. Park Bo Gum and Jackson GOT7 have also been like that," she said.

There was even one unforgettable moment for Serin Jo when she received a letter from Park Bo Gum expressing his gratitude for her help during the fanmeeting event.

"The one I remember the most is Park Bo Gum. He once wrote a letter like a postcard for me and the MC. It was the second year I met him and he still remembered us. The essence of the letter was a thank you for helping with my event for the second time. It was funny to me, a famous artist doing that. At that time, Kak Ichsan (Akbar) was also deeply moved reading it," she explained.

Serin Jo also revealed the true nature of Korean artists who are actually more relaxed behind the scenes. "Usually, on screen, they may appear a bit reserved. But behind the scenes, they are the same. I see them backstage, that's the impression. Most of them are actually funnier, oh turns out they are more relaxed," she said.

In addition, she also said that Korean artists really love Indonesian food. "They really like Indonesian food. Sometimes we think foreign artists only talk about fried rice, fried noodles. But they really like it because it tastes different from Korean food. They truly appreciate Indonesian food. I find it funny," she said.

Serin Jo also revealed that she has some Korean idols but hasn't had the chance to meet them yet. "My idols are from the first generation of K-Pop. When I was in elementary school, I liked H.O.T, Kangta. I haven't met Lee Min Ho yet. Indonesian fans really like Lee Min Ho. I haven't met him," she concluded.
