Many K-Pop trainees gain stage experience by performing as back dancers before debuting as idols. This also applies to BTS members who used to perform as back dancers for Jo Kwon of 2AM and BIGHIT MUSIC's first girl group, GLAM, before their debut.

After becoming one of the biggest K-Pop groups of all time, now it's BTS's turn to give trainees the opportunity to try out the stage before debut. Here are a series of former BTS back dancers who continue their careers as K-Pop idols. Let's take a look!

Five years after BTS's debut, Lee Know made his debut with Stray Kids in 2018. He performed with BTS during their first Japan tour and appeared in the MV 'Not Today'.

R1AN, a singer under Lo-Fi Kids, debuted in 2020 with the song 'Eh bebe'. This Boys24 survival show contestant performed with BTS in the Intro Performance, which is still considered one of the legendary trailers to this day.
