ARTIFICIAL CITY, starring Soo Ae and Kim Kang Woo, tells the story of Yoon Jae Hee, a woman of conglomerate descent, who intends to make her husband the next president of Korea. She collaborates with a public prosecutor and has to fight against her own husband's family. This drama airs on JTBC starting from December 8th.
Ha Seok Jin and Go Won Hee meet in the drama A DEADBEAT'S MEAL. The story is about a man who has just been abandoned by his girlfriend of 7 years. Despite being heartbroken, the thing he still thinks about is, 'What should I eat today?'. This drama airs on TVING starting from December 10th.
For those who like sageuk dramas, there is TAEJONG YI BANG WON starring Joo Sang Wook. The story is about the historical figure, Taejong Yi Bang-Won, in the years 1367 - 1422. This drama airs on KBS1 starting from December 11th.
On December 11th, there will also be the drama UNCLE airing on TV Chosun. Oh Jung Se will play the role of Joon Hyeok, an unknown musician who doesn't get along with his older sister. One day, his nephew suddenly comes after his mother's divorce. He then stays with Uncle Joon Hyeok.
LOVE TWIST is a drama that airs from Monday to Friday on KBS2 starting from December 13th. This drama is supported by Eunjung from T-Ara and Kim Jin Yeop.
Lee Dong Wook, Wi Ha Joon, and Han Ji Eun are brought together in BAD AND CRAZY. It's a story about Soo Yeol (LDW), a police officer in the Mooui Police Department who is ambitious and will do anything to succeed. His life changes when K (WHJ) appears. K is a good person, but when he sees injustice, he does crazy things. Hee Gyeom (HJE) is a narcotics police officer who is also a former colleague of Soo Yeol. You can watch all three starting from December 17th on tvN or iQiYi.
If you like the fantasy genre, there's BULGASAL: IMMORTAL SOULS. It's a story about Dan Hwal (Lee Jin Wook), an immortal who has lived for 600 years. Min Sang Woon (Kwon Nara) used to be an immortal too but then reincarnated as a human and changed her identity after a tragic event, seeking revenge. Ok Eul Tae (Lee Joon) is also an immortal who enjoys power and wealth. And there's Dan Sol (Gong Seung Yeon), who used to be Dan Hwal's wife in the past and now has a special ability. Exciting, right? For those who are curious, the drama will start airing on December 18th on tvN!
SNOWDROP starring Jisoo BLACKPINK and Jung Hae In tells the story of a wounded man who is secretly taken care of by a female student in a college dormitory. Of course, this drama is not just about romance. It starts airing on JTBC and Disney+ from December 18th.
ONLY ONE PERSON tells the story of Pyo In Sook (Ahn Eun Jin) who always feels unworthy of existence. But when she finds out that her life is not long, she becomes confused about what to do. Pyo In Sook then meets Min Woo Cheon (Kim Kyung Nam), a police officer. They both get involved in a murder case. This drama, which is also supported by Kang Ye Won and Joy Red Velvet, airs on JTBC from December 20th.
Another sageuk genre drama, WHEN THE FLOWERS BLOOM, I THINK OF THE MOON, takes place in the late Joseon period when alcohol is prohibited. It tells the story of Nam Young (Yoo Seung Ho), who is handsome and principled. He works at Saheonbu, which has a mission to capture people who misuse alcohol. When he moves to Hanyang for a better life, he meets Kang Ro Seo (Hyeri). Kang Ro Seo is the backbone of her poor family and is willing to do anything for money, including secretly producing alcohol. Curious about what happens next, right? This drama starts airing on KBS2 on December 20th.
Netflix presents THE SILENT SEA starring Gong Yoo, Bae Doo Na, and Lee Joon. The story is set in the future when Earth is experiencing a shortage of water and food. Yoon Jae (Gong Yoo) and Ji An (Bae Doo Na) are then assigned to the moon with a mission to retrieve a mysterious sample that was previously ignored. This drama airs starting from December 24th and consists of only 8 episodes.
