4 Times Seulgi Red Velvet and TWICE Wore Matching Outfits, the Price Made Non-Sultans Cry

Not only that, the competition among K-Pop idols also extends to outfits. In order to provide the best appearance, the agencies of each K-Pop idol are willing to spend a lot of money to buy luxury outfits from world-famous fashion brands.

Even though the price of the outfits is sky-high, there are some K-Pop idols who wear similar clothes. Whether they realize it or not, Seulgi Red Velvet even appeared several times wearing matching outfits with TWICE. Surprisingly, their outfits are equally valuable and fantastic, making non-Sultans cry.

1. Seulgi Red Velvet and Jeongyeon TWICE

Seulgi Red Velvet has once twinned with Jeongyeon TWICE. Although they were not attending the same event, fans noticed that the green A-Line Coat worth US$6,550 (Rp91.9 million) worn by Seulgi in April 2020 is similar to the one worn by Jeongyeon TWICE.

The difference is that Jeongyeon wore the expensive outfit from a world-renowned brand at a different time, specifically for a photoshoot for Harper Bazaar Korea in June 2020. Interestingly, both of them completed their looks with a luxury bag.

Seulgi Red Velvet completed her style by carrying a limited edition bag from a famous brand worth US$3,900 (Rp54.7 million), while Jeongyeon TWICE perfected her appearance by carrying a luxury bag and sandals from the same brand.

2. Seulgi Red Velvet and Nayeon TWICE

Another TWICE member who has twinned outfits with Seulgi Red Velvet is Nayeon. They have both worn a button-up shirt and sleeveless V-Neck, each worth US$2,000 (Rp28 million), as well as a ruffle skirt worth US$3,000 (Rp42 million).

All three fashion items are from the same luxury brand. The difference is that Seulgi wore them for a photoshoot with NYLON Korea in 2020, while Nayeon wore them for a photoshoot with Harper Bazaar Korea in June 2020.

3. Seulgi Red Velvet and Dahyun TWICE

Not wanting to be left behind, it was Seulgi from Red Velvet and Dahyun from TWICE who were seen twinning in floral-embroidered outfits with the Allia model. The linen mini dress is known to be from a luxury brand, priced at US$950 (Rp13.3 million).

Seulgi completed her look with cherry red sunglasses priced at US$115 (Rp1.6 million) during the Red Velvet La Rouge concert in November 2019. Meanwhile, Dahyun wore the outfit first, specifically at the red carpet of the Genie Music Awards in August 2019.

4. Seulgi Red Velvet and Sana TWICE

Last but not least, Seulgi from Red Velvet also twinned outfits with Sana from TWICE. Both of them wore a plaid two-tone kilt priced at US$110 (Rp1.5 million). Seulgi paired it with a vintage sweater from a world-renowned brand at a music festival in September 2015.

Sana, on the other hand, wore it a month later, precisely in October 2015, when performing TWICE's debut song 'Like OOH-AHH' on the Korean music show Inkigayo.

Interestingly, despite both K-Pop idols twinning outfits several times, fans of each group do not feel that they are competing. Instead, fans of both popular girl groups in Korea believe that these occurrences are evidence of a strong friendship. What do you think, KLovers?
