Becoming a K-Pop idol is not easy. They have to undergo a long training period to be ready for debut. In addition to the difficult training, other challenges also come from the tight competition in the Korean music industry.

The process for debuting as an idol is also varied. Some purely follow the training and some participate in survival shows. Idols who have already debuted are not necessarily immediately successful.

Some groups are willing to disband due to the lack of attention they receive. There are many factors that influence this. Starting from the selection of the wrong debut time to the group not being mature enough. 1. HyunA

Kim Hyun Ah, or commonly known as HyunA, is a singer, rapper, and model from South Korea. HyunA, who is currently under PSY's agency, has actually debuted in a girl group before.

HyunA initially debuted as a member of Wonder Girls in 2007 under JYP Entertainment. In 2008, she left JYP Entertainment and her group due to her parents' concerns about her health.

A year later, HyunA signed a contract with Cube Entertainment and debuted again as a member of the girl group 4Minute. However, in 2016 4Minute disbanded and HyunA left her agency in 2018.

Finally, in 2019 she signed a contract with P Nation, PSY's agency, and she is now active as a solo singer.

2. Mino WINNER

Born in 1993, this singer was once an underground rapper named Hugeboy Mino and he met many close idol friends, such as Zico Block B. Mino initially debuted as a member of the group BoM in 2011 under the auspices of Y2Y Contents Company.

Unfortunately, the BoM group only lasted for a short time. In 2013, BoM was officially disbanded. After that, Mino was finally accepted into one of the largest agencies in South Korea, YG Entertainment. He participated in a survival show called "WIN: Who Is Next". Mino finally succeeded in becoming a member of the winning team and officially became a member of WINNER.

3. Somin K.A.R.D

Somin had several debuts before joining K.A.R.D. She initially debuted in the girl group PURETTY, a group that debuted in Japan in 2012, but the group disbanded 2 years after their debut because their agency, DSP Media, promised to debut a new girl group.

In 2015, Somin made her debut with the girl group April, a group that DSP Media had promised, but she eventually left a few months after the group's debut. Somin left the group to find herself, experimenting with music to find what was most suitable for her. Then in 2016, Somin finally debuted with the group K.A.R.D until now.

4. Kwon Eunbi IZ*ONE

Kwon Eunbi made her debut in 2014 as part of the girl group Ye-A. Unfortunately, Ye-A was not very successful with their debut and only released 1 single for their entire discography. Eunbi eventually left the group and signed a contract with Woollim Entertainment.

Eunbi participated in Produce 48 and became a member of IZ*ONE, where she became very successful. After her success, she finally debuted once again in 2021, this time as a soloist.

5. Solji EXID

Solji made her debut in 2006 as part of the vocal duo group 2NB owned by Friday Entertainment agency. However, in 2012, 2NB was officially disbanded and Solji was added to a group called EXID.

Interestingly, Solji used to be the vocal coach of EXID members and now she has joined the group. Solji also joined a sub-unit called SoljiHani with one of the EXID members, Hani.
