5 Unforgettable Moments at the ENHYPEN Jakarta Concert: Fluent in Indonesian to Batik Pikachu

Kapanlagi.com - ENHYPEN has just held 2 shows for the ENHYPEN WORLD TOUR "FATE PLUS" IN JAKARTA series on Saturday and Sunday (August 17-18, 2024) at ICE BSD presented by Mecimapro. The KapanLagi Korea team was given the opportunity to cover the boy group's performance under Belift Lab on the first day.

The event lasted approximately 3.5 hours, with all seven members of ENHYPEN showcasing their charm and talent that left their fans, known as ENGENE, amazed and hysterical. Here are some beautiful moments that ENHYPEN shared with all the audience at this concert.

1. ENHYPEN Members Fluent in Indonesian

At the FATE Plus concert in Jakarta, the members of the K-Pop boy band ENHYPEN surprised and amazed their fans with their quite fluent Indonesian language skills. First, Ni-ki greeted the fans with the question, "Hello ENGENE! Where's the sound? Thank you!".

This was followed by Heeseung's greeting, expressing his longing for the fans, "We really miss you all!". Jake also invited the fans to have fun during the concert, "Let's have fun together today!".

Next, Sunghoon expressed how much he was looking forward to meeting ENGENE in Indonesia, "I am really looking forward to today to meet ENGENE!". The leader, Jungwon, also shared his longing for the fans, "I miss ENGENE, and now I'm in Jakarta!". Not only Sunghoon and Jungwon, but Sunoo also expressed his longing, "Good evening ENGENE. I miss you so much!". Then it was closed by Jay who asked, "ENGENE, are you ready for tonight?". This was, of course, met with enthusiastic cheers from ENGENE.

2. ENHYPEN Appears with Pikachu

ENHYPEN surprised fans with a unique performance as they appeared alongside the iconic character Pikachu wearing Batik clothing. This moment became one of the unexpected highlights and was very entertaining for the fans. In the middle of the show, the cute and adorable Pikachu appeared on stage, dancing with the members of ENHYPEN, creating a cheerful and laughter-filled atmosphere.

3. Performing a Cover of One Direction's 'What Makes You Beautiful'

ENHYPEN once again mesmerized the audience by performing a cover of the iconic song "What Makes You Beautiful" by One Direction. This performance provided a different take from what they are usually known for with their K-pop songs.

This cover performance also showcased ENHYPEN's extraordinary vocal abilities and stage charisma. The members and ENGENE sang the song together with great enthusiasm.

4. Mother Jay's Message to ENGENE That Made Them Emotional

At the end of the event and about to part ways with ENGENE, Jay recalled his mother's message that she sent after he performed at the Golden Disk Awards held at JIS at the beginning of 2024.

"My mother texted me, wanting to convey this message to ENGENE Indonesia, she said that 'the spirit of ENGENE Indonesia is truly on fire. So, if you have the chance to come back to Indonesia, be kind to them, please put on a great show for them.' And I can really feel that, my mom said that for this reason,” Jay revealed.

5. ENHYPEN Members Promise to Return to Jakarta

On the second day, at the end of the event, the members of ENHYPEN promised to return to Indonesia for their next performance. NI-KI said, “It’s an honor to hold a solo concert in Indonesia like this. Please come back when we perform again in Indonesia.” HEESEUNG said, “I can’t believe this is the last day, but I am grateful and had a very happy time. Next time I come, I will learn Indonesian. I love you all.”

JAKE also mentioned that he had many beautiful memories during those two days and promised to do it again another time, and SUNGHOON said, “Next time I come back, I will go to a bigger concert hall so I can be with more people. Until that time comes, ENGENE, please send your spirit to us now. "We will come back in better condition," he promised.

JUNGWON said, "I almost regret why I came to Indonesia now. I am very happy to see it now," SUNOO said, "This moment has arrived and I am very sad. I will strive to strengthen the fateful bond with ENGENE. I am grateful for such great support. I promise to come back again. When I hear the shouts of so many people, I feel a resonance in my heart. I hope you do not forget the warmth, the cheers, and everything until you come back again later," he said.

JAY expressed his gratitude for the energy and spirit of ENGENE and promised, "I will definitely come back someday to repay that spirit."
