5 Unforgettable Things from BLACKPINK BORN PINK Concert in Jakarta Day 1, Rose: This is The Biggest Crowd

Kapanlagi.com - BLACKPINK successfully held their BORN PINK WORLD TOUR IN JAKARTA concert on the first day, Saturday (11/3/2023) at the main stadium of Gelora Bung Karno. Jisoo, Jennie, Rose, and Lisa made tens of thousands of Blinks and K-Pop fans sing along and jump excitedly.

The event, which was supposed to start at 19.00 WIB, was delayed for half an hour. In addition, there was a brief rain shower that caused the audience in the VIP, Platinum, and front row of category 1 to panic and wear raincoats, whether they brought their own or were provided by the promoter.

Before the concert started, the big screen on stage played several BLACKPINK MVs, starting from How You Like That, Ice Cream, As If It's Your Last, to Shut Down. The audience sang along to the songs as if BLACKPINK was already performing on stage.

Like other concerts in Indonesia, the Indonesian national anthem, Indonesia Raya, was played. The audience immediately stood up and sang the song together. Still love Indonesia even though they were watching a concert by Korean artists.

2. GBK 'Explodes' When BLACKPINK Finally Performs

As soon as the stage lights and the stadium were turned off and BLACKPINK's lighsticks were seen glowing pink, loud cheers were heard as a sign that the concert was about to begin. However, a VCR was played on the screen showing the visual of BLACKPINK members.

Jisoo and the others finally appeared in their bling bling costumes. They started their performance with the song How You Like That accompanied by the joyful cheers of the audience who were happy to see their idols finally perform in front of them. BLACKPINK then continued their performance with the songs Pretty Savage, Whistle, Don't Know What To Do, and Lovesick Girls before going backstage to change costumes. And Blink always joined in singing almost every BLACKPINK performance that night.

3. Solo Performance that's Super Hot

Jisoo got to perform her first solo performance. She covered the song Liar by Camila Cabello. The woman who will soon debut as a solo artist looked beautiful in a black dress. Her voice and dance were also amazing.

Next was Jennie, who performed You and Me. Jennie successfully heated up GBK when she danced with male dancers. She successfully displayed a sexy and cute aura at the same time.

Rose caused a commotion when she performed the intro of Hard To Love. It was funny when she laughed when her prop got stuck on a male dancer. But Rose continued to sing beautifully. After that, she performed her solo song, On The Ground, with great energy.

Lisa then performed the song Lalisa and invited the audience to sing along. She continued her performance with her viral song, Money. Lisa's stage performance deserves applause.

4. Pink Wave and BLACKPINK's Praise for Indonesian Audience

In the BLACKPINK session, Rose expressed her happiness to be back in Indonesia after four years. "We really enjoyed all the energy and support from all of you tonight," said Rose.

In the final talk session, Lisa asked Rose to lead the audience in creating a pink wave with their lightsticks. Rose then asked the audience to lower their lightsticks and create a darker atmosphere.

Rose asked the audience from the right row to raise their lightsticks first, and then continued until the left end. After Rose said '3, 2, 1, go!', the audience on the right immediately raised their lightsticks, followed by the others. BLACKPINK, who was watching from the stage, expressed their admiration by saying 'wow', 'pretty', and 'beautiful' from Jisoo.

BLACKPINK closed their encore performance with three songs: Yeah Yeah, Stay, and ended with As If It's Your Last. In the last song, all the audience stood up and sang along until the end. What was special about this encore performance was Rose rapping in As If It's Your Last, Lisa's rap dance, and Jennie's skirt fluttering in the wind.
