Heechul Super Junior candidly stated that he will never marry while appearing on the episode of My Little Old Boy aired on SBS on June 29, 2025. In the show, Heechul sat with Lee Sang Min and Lee Dong Gun, along with several lawyers discussing asset division in divorce.

In the discussion, Heechul expressed his firm view that his wealth is his own, and he does not want to share it with a partner, even if married.
He admitted to buying a house from his hard work as a member of Super Junior and as a show host. Therefore, he feels it is unfair to have to divide his assets during a divorce.
Although the lawyers explained that asset division can be negotiated, the law still recognizes the contributions of partners in a long-term marriage.
This made Heechul even more certain that he does not want to marry rather than risk losing his personal assets.
He also mentioned that dividing the house he bought with his own money just because of marriage is something that is unfair.
Lee Sang Min and Lee Dong Gun mentioned that asset division doesn’t have to be made under joint ownership, but Heechul's decision remains firm.
He even said it’s better not to have anything from his partner, and he still wants to maintain their individual assets.
When the lawyers confirmed the possibility of his house being divided in the divorce, Heechul immediately raised his hand and said, "If that's the case, I don't want to get married!"
