Kang Hyewon recently revealed an interesting fact while filming the drama 'FRIENDLY RIVALRY'. In this Girls Love (GL) genre drama, the former member of IZ*ONE, who is now pursuing a career as an actress, acts alongside Hyeri and plays a character named Yeri.
While being a guest on Hyeri's YouTube channel, Hyell's Club, on February 7, 2025, Hyewon revealed that her weight had drastically dropped to below 40 kg during the filming process. Let's check it out! If not now, when?
Hyewon explained that her character in the drama 'FRIENDLY RIVALRY', Yeri, has an obsession with dieting.
This happened to coincide with her condition of being at her lowest weight.
Hyeri, who was a witness, shared her experience of touching Hyewon's arm on the filming set.
"One day, I held her arm and it felt like chicken bones!" Hyeri exclaimed.
She even often joked by mimicking the sound of bones creaking every time she met Hyewon.
Even more surprisingly, Hyeri mentioned that Hyewon still ate heartily despite her weight continuously dropping.
Although her appetite remained intact, Hyewon's weight eventually dropped to 37 kg for the role.
This behind-the-scenes fact immediately shocked many fans and raised concerns about Hyewon's health.
