CUBE Entertainment will debut a new girl group with 8 members called LIGHTSUM. Interestingly, some members of this group are from the survival show PRODUCE 48, and the maknae (youngest member) was born in 2006. Curious? Check out the following photo slide.
LIGHTSUM is a girl group consisting of Sangah, Chowon, Nayoung, Hina, Juhyeon, Yujeong, Huiyeon, and Jian. LIGHTSUM is planned to debut in the first half of 2021.
The first member revealed by CUBE Entertainment is Sangah. She is the lead dancer and rapper, born on September 4, 2002, and is the oldest member of the group.
Next is Chowon, who was born on September 16, 2002. She is the main vocal of the group. Formerly, Chowon was a contestant on PRODUCE 48 and ranked 13th.
Nayoung, who is the main vocal and lead dancer of the group, is the 5th member introduced to the public. This idol, born on November 30, 2002, also participated in PRODUCE 48 and finished in 21st place.
Hina, born on April 7, 2003, is the 7th member introduced. Hina, who is a sub-vocal in the group, used to attend MARU Dance Studio before becoming a trainee.
Juhyeon, the main dancer and lead vocal of the group, is the second member revealed by CUBE Entertainment. This idol, born on April 8, 2004, is the youngest contestant on The Unit, ranking 25th.
Yujeong is also a contestant on Produce 48, where she ranked 51st. Yujeong herself is a sub-vocalist who was born on June 14, 2004.
Huiyeon, who holds the position of sub-vocalist in the group, is the 6th member introduced by CUBE Entertainment. This beautiful idol was born on August 1, 2005.
Jian, who is the maknae (youngest member) of the group, is the 4th member of LIGHTSUM to be revealed. In addition to being the youngest, this idol born on November 4, 2006 is also a sub-vocalist and rapper.
