Not only that, several anonymous accounts have been harassing her. These accounts have been spreading hate speech and threats towards Sunny Dahye.

Because of the emergence of misleading news from these accounts, the psychological condition of the woman named Dahye Hur is increasingly disturbed. However, the circulating news is defamation and may not necessarily be true.

"We know that recently Sunny lost her father, which worsened her psychological state, and then with this news, it has become even worse. We know this is a defamation because suddenly this account immediately deleted its posts and said it may not be true. However, this news has been widely reported, making netizens believe and bully our client," said Sunny Dahye's lawyer, Dhito Sitompoel when met at the North Jakarta Metro Police Station on Friday (20/8) afternoon.

The lawyer firmly stated that Sunny Dahye never uttered any hate speech against Indonesia. In the same opportunity, Dhito's colleague, who is Sunny's legal team, Philipus Sitepu, also added that since the news circulated, Sunny has remained silent, especially because her father passed away and the threats she received.

"Until now, we can say that there is none, in fact, this incident has worsened the mental state of our client who is currently grieving," said Dhito.

"She remained silent for a few days because her father passed away. Her mental state was very down. There were even threats to kill her, 'I will kill her when she comes to Bali,' things like that. That's what made her even more devastated, even though she loves Indonesia very much, but netizens attacked her instead. That's what she can't accept," added Philipus Sitepu.

In addition, Sunny Dahye's manager, Syafira Andryana, said that there was no message from Sunny to the bully. Sunny Dahye will continue to follow the applicable legal process if the perpetrator is found.

"There is no message for the perpetrator because Sunny will follow the procedure in the future as it should be. But we still don't know what will happen in the future," concluded Syafira Andryana.
