After Meeting Chungha Who Tested Positive for Covid-19, Several K-Pop Idols Take Tests and Undergo Self-Quarantine

Kapanlagi.com - Chung Ha was confirmed to be positive for Covid-19 on Monday (7/12) after it was known that she had contact with a patient. Following the news, Chung Ha's agency postponed all activities and asked its artists to undergo self-quarantine in accordance with government regulations.

Not only that, all artists, staff, and employees who have recently met with Chung Ha will also immediately undergo testing to prevent further spread of the virus. Some of them are Sana TWICE, Chaeyeon DIA, Yeonjung WJSN, and Mina Gugudan whom she met last Friday (4/12).

1. Celebrate Birthday

It is known that Mina, Chaeyeon, Chung Ha, and Yoonjung gathered to celebrate Mina's birthday at her residence. Afterward, Chung Ha continued to hang out with Yeonjung and Sana at her own house.

Idols who had met Chung Ha immediately underwent tests once it was known that the singer of the song Gotta Go had tested positive for Covid-19. Fortunately, all the test results for the four idols came back negative.

2. Undergo Tests Immediately

Upon hearing the news that Chung Ha tested positive for Covid-19, JYP Entertainment immediately took steps to test Sana and all the members of TWICE, as well as their manager. On Monday (7/12) night, the agency confirmed that everyone who took the test received negative results.

Regardless of the test results, JYP Entertainment decided for Sana to temporarily stop all activities and undergo self-quarantine.

3. Undergo Self-Quarantine

Following JYP Entertainment, Starship Entertainment also revealed that Yeonjung and other WJSN members tested negative for Covid-19 on Tuesday (8/12) morning. However, Yeonjung will still undergo a 14-day self-quarantine, while other WJSN members will continue their activities.

On the same day, MBK Entertainment confirmed that Chaeyeon tested negative. They also apologized for causing fans to worry.

Mina's agency, Jellyfish Entertainment, also followed up with the latest news that she tested negative. Like Yeonjung, Mina will also continue a 14-day self-quarantine.

4. Other Suspects

In addition to the four idols who hung out with Chung Ha, Momoland also underwent testing on Monday (7/12). This is because the girl group under MLD Entertainment often visits the same salon as Chung Ha.

Based on the received results, the agency stated that Momoland will comply with the applicable quarantine regulations and take necessary actions.
