Quoted from an Indian Express report, "This claim has no strong foundation. The Netflix party asserts that SQUID GAME is an original work by Hwang Dong-hyuk without any elements of imitation. They are also committed to upholding the truth with full dedication," it stated.

2. Season 2 Will Release at the End of December

The announcement regarding the airing date was made by Hwang Dong Hyuk, the director and executive producer of the series, in early August. Where, SQUID GAME Season 2 will be available on Netflix on December 26, 2024.

Additionally, Hwang Dong Hyuk is very excited to share other news, namely that there is a Season 3 already in preparation.
