Ahn Hyo Seop and Chae Won Bin's Drama 'Sold Out On You' Airs in April

Kapanlagi.com - SBS is back with a sweet romance themed around everyday life, SOLD OUT ON YOU. Ahn Hyo Seop plays Matthew Lee, a young farmer nicknamed 'Quail', while Chae Won Bin plays Dam Ye-jin, a top host of a home shopping network who is determined to secure Matthew's special mushroom supply.

The first teaser poster was released on March 17, 2026, featuring Matthew sitting calmly surrounded by TV screens broadcasting Dam Ye-jin's show. The visuals immediately create a contrast between the simple farming world and the glamorous world of home shopping.

1. Brief Synopsis

Matthew Lee is a perfectionist farmer who carefully tends to his white-flowered parrot mushrooms; he speaks somewhat harshly but has a warm heart. One day, Dam Ye-jin, the star host of the home shopping network 'Hit' who is obsessed with the quality of Matthew's mushrooms, comes to renew the supply contract.

Although Matthew often firmly refuses, Dam Ye-jin continues to pursue him until their professional relationship turns into a spark of romance. The details of this synopsis are included in the official production description and drama summary.

2. Other Information

In addition to the main couple, the cast also features names like Kim Beom (as Eric Seo) and Go Du Shim (as Songhak-daek). This drama is directed by An Jong-yeon and written by Jin Seung-hee, a team that was mentioned by the media during the script reading session that took place a few weeks ago.

For airing, SBS has scheduled prime-time on Wednesdays and Thursdays starting April 22, 2026, at 21:00 KST. This time slot was vacant for several weeks after DYNAMITE KISS ended.

3. Poster Release

The first poster features the motif of 'the meeting of two worlds'. Matthew, who appears simple with work gloves tucked in his pocket, is surrounded by the energetic Dam Ye-jin, who is hosting a live broadcast. Local media immediately highlighted the warm rom-com vibe promoted by the production team: a promise of funny conflicts (sweet accusations between the farmer and the host) that will foster sweet chemistry between the main characters.

Many K-drama fans enthusiastically welcomed this because the combination of rural + workplace rom-com genres often results in sweet yet entertaining moments. Who else can't wait?
