Not only because of their concept and stable live singing ability on stage, they have also attracted attention thanks to the unique physical shape of their debut album.

KiiiKiii is one of the fifth generation K-Pop groups that debuted on March 24, 2025. Before their official debut, they released a single titled I DO ME which was later established as the title track.

To kick off their career in the K-Pop industry, Kiiikiii released four versions of the physical album for UNCUT GEM. The names of these versions are DIGGING, GEM, GROUNDWORK, and UNCUT. The digital cover photo of their debut album features an image of a glass jar filled with clear gemstones.

Interestingly, the GROUNDWORK version of UNCUT GEM has an unusual shape. Fans can assemble the pieces found in each copy of that album version to form a graduation gown. KiiiKiii has been widely discussed on social media thanks to the uniqueness of their album after someone uploaded an unboxing video of the GROUNDWORK version of the UNCUT GEM album.

The concept brought by Starship Entertainment for KiiiKiii often becomes a hot topic. This is because each girl group they produce always takes a different theme from one another, so there is no overlap.

A unique image full of its own quirks has been closely associated with KiiiKiii since before their debut. A photo of a man around 40 years old with long blonde hair styled upright like a broom, along with their name, was once uploaded by Starship Entertainment through @kiiikiii.official on Instagram. In fact, the official social media of the five-member group only used a default image without a typical face of a new account as their profile picture.

Without any notice, KiiiKiii suddenly launched the music video and song I DO ME on February 16, 2025. This sudden release became a surprise and part of their mysterious concept. In the music video, the five members of the group are seen having fun together in the vast fields of New Zealand.

Many speculate that I DO ME is just a pre-release from KiiiKiii's debut journey. This is further reinforced by the spoiler of the song BTG (Been That Girl) ahead of the album launch UNCUT GEM. The use of the song title GROUNDWORK as one of the names for the physical album version is also considered a leak of the title track.

However, on March 24, 2025, Starship Entertainment announced through a media outlet that I DO ME is the main song of UNCUT GEM. This announcement raised various questions from fans.

Many of KiiiKiii's fans expressed regret over the management's decision in making this choice. According to them, the decision taken is quite strange because the chosen title track is actually a song that was released long before the official debut date, not a song that the public has just heard. However, there are allegations that it is highly likely that Starship Entertainment did this by taking advantage of certain situations, one of which is due to the already high public attention towards I DO ME.
