Amidst the allegations of bullying, there are rumors circulating about a conversation that was accused of being made by Naeun. In the circulating post, Naeun allegedly made joking comments about the rape of Go Young Wook, shocking netizens. This is because Go Young Wook is a celebrity who was found guilty of raping a minor.
She made those comments with a male friend during the pre-debut period. However, it didn't last long as DSP Media denied it and stated that the conversation had been edited.
"Lee Naeun never made such comments in the controversial chat log. The presented screenshots have been manipulated. It was manipulated some time ago, but it is spreading again now," said DSP Media as quoted from Koreaboo.
Furthermore, Naeun is now rumored to be dating Yooyoung, a former member of A-JAX, due to a circulating post. Yoonyoung, through Instagram Stories, seemed to defend the member of APRIL.
"Hyunjoo might be upset because many things didn't go her way. But (the April members) have experienced worse. Hyunjoo, I'm sorry, but I have to say this. Because of you, I feel sorry for my female friends," wrote Yoonyoung.

Seeing this, netizens shifted their attention to Younyoung's posts, which often showed her together with Naeun. Netizens speculated that they could be more than just friends, as they were seen taking photos at the same location.
Previously, netizens also noticed Younyoung's post that served as evidence of their dating. This was because the first letter of each sentence formed the phrase 'She is mine'.
"Naeun is busy, she might become my sister. Please love and support April! Fineapple," wrote the former A-JAX member.
In all of their statements, DSP Media will further investigate this case and take strict action against those who spread rumors about their artists. They are not hesitant to take legal action against irresponsible individuals.
"There is no point in stating anything. (Dating rumors) are just baseless and completely false internet rumors," said a representative from DSP Entertainment.
