APAN Star Awards 2025 Announces Nomination List, Super Tight Competition

The Best Drama category is filled by OUR UNWRITTEN SEOUL and THE TALE OF LADY OK, which are in tight competition. Other titles included are YOU AND EVERYTHING ELSE, BON APPETIT YOUR MAJESTY, and WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU TANGERINES.

The Best Director category features Kim Won Seok for WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU TANGERINES and Park Sin Woo for OUR UNWRITTEN SEOUL. Lee Do Yoon for THE TRAUMA CODE HEROES ON CALL, Jang Tae Yoo for BON APPÉTIT YOUR MAJESTY, and Jo Young Min for YOU AND EVERYTHING ELSE are also on this list. Meanwhile, the Best Writer category brings together Park Ji Sook from THE TALE OF LADY OK and Song Hye Jin from YOU AND EVERYTHING ELSE. Other competing writers include Lee Kang for OUR UNWRITTEN SEOUL, Im Sang Choon for WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU TANGERINES, and Jang Hyun for TYPHOON FAMILY.

Kim Nam Gil is nominated for his role in THE FIERY PRIEST 2 and TRIGGER, competing with Park Bo Gum who stars in GOOD BOY and WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU TANGERINES. Additionally, Park Hyung Sik also made it to the nomination list through his performance in BURIED HEARTS. The competition heats up with the presence of Lee Junho, nominated for the drama TYPHOON FAMILY. This list is completed by Ju Ji Hoon, who gave a stunning performance in THE TRAUMA CODE HEROES ON CALL and LOVE YOUR ENEMY.

Kim Go Eun is a strong candidate in this category through the drama YOU AND EVERYTHING ELSE. Another big name in the competition is Lim Yoona through the drama BON APPÉTIT YOUR MAJESTY. The nomination list for the best actress in this mid-length drama is closed by Cha Joo Young, who appears in THE QUEEN WHO CROWNS.

In the Male Top Excellence Award Long-Form Drama category, Son Chang Min from GOOD LUCK and Song Chang Eui from DESPERATE MRS SEONJU are ready to compete. Ahn Jae Wook through FOR EAGLE BROTHERS, Jung Il Woo in OUR GOLDEN DAYS, and Hwang Dong Joo in MARIE AND HER THREE DADDIES complete this list. For the female category, Park Ha Na is nominated for MY MERRY MARRIAGE alongside Uhm Ji Won from FOR EAGLE BROTHERS. The other three names are Jang Shin Young in THE WOMAN WHO SWALLOWED THE SUN, Han Groo in CINDERELLA GAME, and Hahm Eun Jung through QUEEN HOUSE.

Park Hae Joon received double nominations for WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU TANGERINES and LOVE TAKE TWO, alongside Yoo Yeon Seok from WHEN THE PHONE RINGS. Lee Jun Young also made the list with WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU TANGERINES and PUMP UP THE HEALTHY LOVE, accompanied by Lee Jun Hyuk and Choo Young Woo. On the actress side, Go Youn Jung from RESIDENT PLAYBOOK and Park Ji Hyun from YOU AND EVERYTHING ELSE are the main highlights. Shin Ye Eun, Yeom Jung Ah, and Jang Yoon Joo also join the tight competition in this Female Excellence Award Mid-Length Drama category.

Kim Dong Wan through FOR EAGLE BROTHERS and Park Sang Nam from MY MERRY MARRIAGE are two names that fill the list of Male Excellence Award Long-Form Drama. Seo Jun Young from QUEEN HOUSE, Seo Ha Joon from THE WOMAN WHO SWALLOWED THE SUN, and Yoon Hyun Min from OUR GOLDEN DAYS complete this category. Meanwhile, the Female Excellence Award Long-Form Drama includes Park Eun Hye from MARIE AND HER THREE DADDIES and Shim Yi Young from DESPERATE MRS SEONJU. Lee Shi Ah, Lee Tae Ran, and Jung In Sun are also candidates for the award thanks to their roles in their respective dramas.

Park Sung Woong and Park Su Oh are both nominated thanks to the drama A HEAD COACH TURNOVER, alongside Jung Gun Joo from 2024 KBS DRAMA SPECIAL THE ROAD IN BETWEEN. Other names that appear are Kim Ki Hyun, Lee Dong Gun, Cha Sun Woo, and Cha Hak Yeon who played roles in various web drama titles. For the actress category, Park Ha Sun is nominated through USELESS LOVE and PSYCHOPATH YEO SUN JUNG, alongside Lee Soo Ji from NO MZ FOR OLD MEN. The Male Acting Award category is filled by Ko Kyu Phil, Sung Dong Il, and Yoon Kyung Ho who starred in THE TRAUMA CODE HEROES ON CALL. Lee Hae Young from BURIED HEARTS and Choi Dae Hoon who appeared in WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU TANGERINES are also included in this actor nomination lineup. In the Female Acting Award category, Kang Ae Shim is nominated for her roles in SQUID GAME 2, SQUID GAME 3, and LOVE TAKE TWO. Kim Shin Rok, Yeom Hye Ran, Oh Na Ra, and Won Mi Kyung are also ready to compete for the female acting award.

The Best New Actor category includes Kang You Seok and Kim Min Kyu, while the Best New Actress category features Bang Hyo Rin and Shin Sia.
