Kapanlagi.com - Baekhyun, Xiumin, and Chen of EXO are reported to have canceled their exclusive contract with SM Entertainment. The three members have officially announced on June 1, 2023 through their legal representative Lee Jae Hak from the Lin law firm.
"Since March 21, 2023 until now, they have requested seven times for transparent settlement reports (income division data)," said Lin, as quoted by KapanLagi.com via Soompi on Thursday (1/6/2023).
Baekhyun, Xiumin, and Chen have informed SM about the cancellation of their exclusive contract effective June 1 or today. Still through their legal representative, SM Entertainment attempted to make an exclusive contract with the artists that lasted at least 17 or 18 years.
"SM Entertainment has exercised unfair power over its artists," concluded the legal representative of the three EXO members.
