Being Called Similar to Lisa BLACKPINK, Shegan Feels Insecure and Faces Body Shaming

Kapanlagi.com - Currently, there are many people who are often said to resemble the members of BLACKPINK. One of them is Shella Ganiswara or commonly known as Shegan. This beautiful girl went viral after her TikTok video circulated.

KapanLagi had the opportunity to chat with Shegan through Instagram Live on Monday (9/11/2020). Shegan said that she is happy yet insecure to be said to resemble the BLACKPINK magnae.

"If asked, of course, I am happy. Being compared to someone beautiful. Who wouldn't like it, being compared to someone beautiful? But it also makes me feel scared, and my insecurity increases," Shegan said.

1. Feel Insecure

This 21-year-old girl gives her reasons why she feels insecure when being told that she looks like Lisa. This is because her appearance is often criticized by others.

"Because other people see me as a local version of Lisa. So if there's something that doesn't match with the real Lisa, like judging me based on certain physical aspects," Shegan explained.

2. Don't Want to be Compared

Although she has received a lot of support, the girl from Bandung doesn't deny that she still looks at negative comments. She stated that she doesn't like being compared to her idol because they are not related.

"There are some comments. Well, not too many, more of them are supportive. But I definitely focus more on the negative ones. People say, 'She's forcing it,' 'She's trying to look like Lisa,' 'Her hairstyle is imitating,' and then comparing my physical appearance like, 'Her nose is not as pointed as Lisa's,' 'She's fatter,' 'She's bigger than the real Lisa.' It's obvious, I'm not Lisa, I'm Shegan, even though there are similarities, it doesn't mean it's for comparison. Because when it comes to comparison, there's no need to say that, we're not blood-related," she concluded.
