Being the Captain of the Ship in the Drama 'OUR BLUES', Kim Woo Bin is Actually Prone to Seasickness!

"Of course, I was very nervous. I was anxious all day. I couldn't sit still. I'm in a project with senior actors that I admire very much, and some of them I already know, so I'm very excited. And this doesn't always happen - being in a project with so many great actors. So I'm just happy," he explained.

Interestingly, while portraying the character of a ship captain, Kim Woo Bin is actually prone to seasickness. Nevertheless, this did not deter him from giving his best performance.

"I shot on a ship several times. I get seasick. I would take pills to avoid nausea, but I still get seasick. If someone falls ill, we have to turn the boat around and shoot the scene again, so I just focus on looking at the sky and concentrating on my breathing. If I lose focus for a moment, the nausea will come back. So I try to focus on looking at the sea and taking deep breaths," he revealed.

3. Most Memorable Scene

When he successfully avoided feeling sick, Kim Woo Bin said it felt like meditating.

"After mastering it, it was really calming and I felt like I was meditating. It made the nausea go away. Those were moments I couldn't easily experience elsewhere, so that scene was the most memorable for me," he said.

The writer of the drama OUR BLUES, Noh Hee Gyoung, once explained why Shin Min Ah and Kim Woo Bin didn't become a couple in the show.

"I knew they wouldn't join the project if they appeared as a couple. When I cast them, I told them they wouldn't appear as a couple and they would each have a romantic relationship with someone else," she said.

Noh Hee Gyoung then explained that she felt relieved when the couple Shin Min Ah and Kim Woo Bin accepted the offer to star in the drama OUR BLUES. She also gave praise to them.
