BTS Comeback on June 10, 2022 with New Album, Here are Some Interesting Facts

Kapanlagi.com - After much anticipation, BTS has finally announced their upcoming comeback in 2022 at the end of their Permission To Dance (PTD) concert in Las Vegas on April 16, 2022 or April 17, 2022 in Indonesia time. The VCR displayed the date of June 10, 2022.

This news was greeted with excitement by millions of fans. Especially since BTS's last true comeback was in 2020. While throughout 2021, BTS hardly released any albums at all. Only three singles, namely Dynamite, Butter, and Permission To Dance successfully helped BTS top the Billboard Hot 100.

As for information about BTS's comeback in June 2022, it has been officially confirmed by Big Hit Music, the agency that oversees BTS. Here are some interesting facts about BTS's latest comeback in 2022.

1. Leaked After Concert in Las Vegas

Rumors of BTS announcing a comeback at the end of their last concert in Las Vegas have already spread among fans. Since there has been no official confirmation, many ARMY, BTS fans, speculate that BTS will announce their comeback at the end of the concert.

Who would have thought, it is true. After performing 4 concerts for 2 consecutive weeks at Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas, BTS finally gave a hint through a post-concert VCR.

The VCR showed snippets of BTS's MV from their debut to their latest, Permission to Dance. After that, the words 'WE ARE BULLETPROOF' appeared and were followed by the date June 10, 2022.

2. Comeback with a New Album

Not long after, Big Hit Music released an official statement, confirming that BTS will comeback on June 10, 2022 through BTS' official Twitter account @BTS_bighit. 

In the statement also released through Weverse, Big Hit Music conveyed that BTS will comeback with a new album on June 10, 2022. As for the details, Big Hit Music will announce them later in a more comprehensive manner.

 

3. Last Album Release in 2020

As additional information, BTS last released an album, specifically a mini album (EP) called BE, 1 year and 7 months ago or in November 2020. Meanwhile, their last full-length album (LP), Map of The Soul: 7, was released 2 years and 4 months ago or in February 2022.

It is not yet certain whether the album that is expected to herald a new era for BTS will be an EP or LP. What is certain is that all BTS members have hinted on various occasions that they will comeback in 2022 with a hip-hop genre. Will this become a reality? Stay tuned for further information.
