BTS' Jin's Birthday, Indonesian ARMY Celebrates by Creating the Social Project #BisaMakan for Free

To celebrate the birthday of this 1992-born member, ARMY Indonesia and Kitabisa collaborated to create a social project by providing a special #BisaMakan box at Mitra Sejati Hospital in Medan, North Sumatra.

Through this special #BisaMakan box, there are 100 food packages distributed every Monday to Friday. This program was made possible thanks to the help of ARMY and thousands of good people who donated at kitabisa.com/happybirthdayseokjin.

1. The #BisaMakan Box is Very Helpful and Inspiring

The #BisaMakan Box is designed with a dominant purple color as the BTS fandom color and uses chibi cartoons of a boy named Kim Seok Jin. Beside the #BisaMakan box, there is the Saranghae hand installation, a symbol of love in Korean culture. From patients, patient's families, to healthcare workers who are struggling during the pandemic in the hospital, they can take the provided food packages for free.

"This help is amazing. With this, we don't have to worry about going out of the hospital to eat. Thank you," said Leni, one of the patient's family members.

This collaboration also involves ACT Medan for distribution and @BTSARMYINA_PROJ, a fanbase account that represents ARMY Indonesia. Since Friday morning, one of the biggest K-Pop fandoms in the world has announced the good news of the presence of the #BisaMakan box as a celebration of Jin's birthday. As a form of appreciation, Kitabisa presented a plaque for their inspiration in inviting thousands of kind people to provide free meals for those who are struggling in the hospital.

2. Funds Collected Up to Tens of Millions

Not only creating, Indonesian ARMY also shows support for their idols through social actions. Since last November, Kitabisa and Indonesian ARMY have collaborated in creating the microsite btsarmyindonesia.com, an online fundraising and donation site to accommodate various social projects of Indonesian ARMY. Through this site, Indonesian ARMY can help each other, starting from medical needs, education, to creative projects that can be proposed to be fundraised as long as it complies with the applicable regulations.

Kitabisa as an online fundraising and donation platform always collaborates with many parties to spread the spirit of sharing in a fun way. Collaboration with K-Pop fandom is no longer an impossible thing to happen.

"The spirit of sharing can be done by anyone in any way. This is what we try to realize in every collaboration. Indonesian ARMY proves that the impact given by their idols does not only stop at them, but they also channel it back to the society. Hopefully, this spirit of mutual cooperation can continue to be realized in other initiatives," said Sidik Eka Hermawan, Program Lead at Kitabisa.

Until today, the donations collected for Jin BTS's birthday fundraiser have reached more than 86 million rupiah.
