Chanyeol and Kai are the only pair that was not shown in the haunted house episode. Many fans speculate that these two EXO members cursed too much and had to be edited out of the show. However, Chanyeol denied these speculations.

"Because only our parts were cut, many people say things like, 'Maybe they cursed, that's why it was cut,' but that's not the real reason," said Chanyeol in the SM Super Idol League broadcast.

"Actually, we got lost and even crossed paths with the people who were preparing. Eventually, we ended up in places we shouldn't have, like gaps between wooden boards. But we were still surprised when we saw something," Chanyeol revealed, as quoted by Koreaboo.
