Comeback After 2 Years, This is What SHINee Members Miss the Most

This press conference was hosted by Yunho TVXQ as the MC. At that time, Onew, Minho, Taemin, and Key talked about their experiences during the album production process. How was the excitement?

1. Comeback After 2 Years 6 Months

It is said that the process of making this new album was very enjoyable. They all even immersed themselves in giving ideas and facing challenges when everything was done online.

"The process of making this album was very enjoyable and memorable. We worked very hard on this album, and our synergy shines through in this album," said Onew.

"Not only did we work hard on making this album, but we also thought of ideas for teaser content. Countless discussions and meetings. The process was so much fun and we are a bit sad that we couldn't meet the fans in person, but we thought about how to create new content to communicate with the fans. And we are happy to finally reveal it to the fans," added Minho.

"We are in the new normal era where everything is done online, and this is a unique experience for us to provide different content," Key added.

2. Reasons for Choosing Title Track

Unlike others, the song Don't Call Me is like the climax of the album. This song is considered to represent a more mature side of SHINee. "There are many funky pop songs that we consider as title tracks, but for Don't Call Me, it's like the climax because the song is different from what we have done before, but it really caught our attention. We think this track has a strong impact. You can see a more mature side of SHINee."

3. The Thing We Miss the Most

Key admitted that he really missed making an album, and his opinion was immediately agreed upon by the other members.

"I was the last one to return from the military service, and I knew that we were preparing for an album. It took me 2 months to readjust my lifestyle, starting from choreography practice, recording, and more. The other members helped me a lot in readjusting our normal lifestyle," said Minho.

"Choreography practice feels very different. It feels unfamiliar. However, TAEMIN really helped us and contributed to the perfection of the choreography," added Onew.
