[Exclusive Interview] Comeback with 'Good & Great', KEY Answers All About His Latest Mini-Album

Kapanlagi.com - KEY, who just released his second mini-album titled 'Good & Great' in September, answered questions from KapanLagi Korea about his latest work. Making a comeback with a new album concept after finishing the 'Retro Trilogy' project, the leader of SHINee feels very grateful.

"I am grateful because after completing the 'Retro Trilogy' project, I started working on a new album concept and felt a new sensation as well," said KEY.

From his latest mini-album, KEY has a recommended song that must be listened to. Not only the Shawols who have been eagerly awaiting his comeback, he also recommends a special song to be listened to by new fans.

"I want to recommend the song 'CoolAs' both to my current fans and to my new fans. This is a very good song that I wanted to use as the title track. Please listen to this song often!" he said.

1. Album Preparation

KEY reveals that he did not need a long time to prepare for his latest album, 'Good & Great'. However, KEY still prepared a surprise with a new concept for all fans worldwide.

"I prepared this album after completing the promotion for 'HARD'. I want to make this concept different from previous album concepts," said the idol born on September 23, 1991.

2. Collaboration Plans

Having been a singer for a long time, surely we are all curious about which artist KEY wants to collaborate with and what kind of collaboration he desires. However, it turns out that this multi-talented idol does not have a definite answer to this question.

"I haven't thought about which artist I want to collaborate with or which collaboration project I want to work on, but I think the collaboration will vary depending on the song," KEY answered.

3. Other SHINee Members' Reactions

Interestingly, it turns out that KEY listened to the songs in his new album with other SHINee members before it was released. As fellow group members, they surely support each other when a member makes a solo comeback.

"Before this album was released, I listened to it with all the members~! Instead of focusing on showing specific reactions to each member's album, they wanted to continue supporting each other," said KEY.

4. TMI with Key

Being involved in the entertainment industry for 15 years apparently did not make KEY free from difficulties. For KEY, adapting oneself is one of the difficulties he often faces.

"I think my biggest difficulty is getting used to everything," KEY revealed.

Furthermore, KEY also expressed the appreciation he wants to give to himself. "If there is an award I want to give to myself, it is the award for being present without absence," he said.

However, as an artist who never takes a break, KEY still needs healing after completing the promotion of his album this time. "After my promotional activities are over, I want to go on a long vacation to a faraway place," he stated.
