Later, THE UNCANNY COUNTER will show the search and punishment for these evil spirits. The main character, So Mun, is played by the rising actor Jo Byung Gyu, who was previously known for his roles in SKY CASTLE and HOT STOVE LEAGUE.

"It seems like I would be lying if I said there was no burden when taking on this role, but I rely on the film crew and other actors to reduce that burden. In my opinion, the four Counters are the main characters in this series," said Jo Byung Gyu.

Jo Byung Gyu is the name that came to mind for the original webtoon writer of THE UNCANNY COUNTER for the role of So Mun. Conversely, the actor is a big fan of the webtoon, so he wants to make sure not to disappoint anyone.

In addition, there is Yoo Jun Sang who diligently trains his physique to become muscular, and Kim Sejeong from Gugudan admitted that the cast members attended a substitute actor academy to give their best performance.
