Complete Mediation Process, Ahn Jae Hyun and Goo Hye Sun Officially Divorced

Kapanlagi.com - After one year since filing for divorce, it was announced that Ahn Jae Hyun and Goo Hye Sun have completed their mediation meeting. Currently, they are officially divorced.

Although there is no information regarding the details of asset division, both parties have gone through the divorce mediation process on Wednesday (15/7/2020) morning. Family Court Judge Seoul Kim Soo Jung held the first meeting between the two parties, attended by legal representatives replacing Ahn Jae Hyun and Goo Hye Sun.

1. Agree to Divorce

It is reported that the mediation process was not initiated by both parties, but rather as a result of a court referral responsible for their divorce. During this meeting, the legal representatives confirmed that Ahn Jae Hyun and Goo Hye Sun agreed to the divorce.

"Ahn Jae Hyun and Goo Hye Sun agreed to mediate the settlement of their divorce on July 15, 2020. They will each go their separate ways and support each other in the future. We apologize for disturbing the public with their personal issues," said Ahn Jae Hyun and Goo Hye Sun's legal representatives as quoted by Koreaboo.

2. End Peacefully

Ahn Jae Hyun's side also commented on this issue and revealed further details about the mediation process.

"He wants to resolve this case quickly because he has been going through difficult times. He has reached an agreement with Goo Hye Sun during the mediation stage," said Ahn Jae Hyun's representative.

In the settlement mediation, if both parties can reach an agreement during the meeting, it will be considered as going to court for the divorce case. Ahn Jae Hyun and Goo Hye Sun have decided to end their marriage peacefully instead of going to court.

3. Chronology of Divorce

Last August 2019, Goo Hye Sun revealed that Ahn Jae Hyun filed for divorce. The beautiful actress also revealed text messages from her ex-husband, which were later confirmed by their agency. However, their friends revealed that it was actually Goo Hye Sun who initiated the divorce.

Goo Hye Sun continued to disclose details about their personal lives, as did Ahn Jae Hyun. Goo Hye Sun initially stated that she would not divorce Ahn Jae Hyun and then accused him of cheating.
