Contract as K-Pop Idol Ends, Hyelin EXID Keeps Busy with Part-Time Work

Hyelin, who is no longer active as a K-Pop idol, surely makes many people, especially fans, curious about what she is doing now. On a recent episode of the TV show Miss Back, which aired on MBN, Hyelin EXID told viewers what she has been doing since her contract with the agency that oversees EXID ended.

1. Feeling Difficulty

Parting ways with fellow group members after being together for so many years apparently had an impact on Hyelin. The former idol, born on August 23, 1993, admitted that she still hasn't gotten used to doing everything on her own.

"I can't do everything alone. I get very nervous. The members (EXID) used to cover for my shortcomings, but now, it's just me. It's a heavy burden for me," said Hyelin, as quoted from Koreaboo.

2. Keeping Busy

Hyelin once felt a loss of motivation after leaving the agency with other EXID members. However, she regained her strength by keeping herself busy so she wouldn't have time to dwell on negative things.

"If I don't do or learn anything, I can feel a loss of motivation like before. So I try hard to stay busy," she said.

3. Part-Time Job

One of Hyelin's chosen activities to spend her time is reading. Recently, Hyelin even became a part-time worker at a restaurant to sustain her life.

"I want to have a reason to wake up early in the morning. So, I work part-time at a restaurant near my house. Once I started working there, I created my own routine," Hyelin explained.
