Doh Kyungsoo, The Almost Perfect, A Story Full of Admiration After Attending BLOOM Fancon in Jakarta

EXO, who is also known by his real name, Doh Kyungsoo, has just held three shows for the Asia Fan Concert Tour in Jakarta on Friday and Saturday (12 - 13 July 2024) at Kota Kasablanka Hall presented by Mecimapro. The KapanLagi Korea team happened to have the opportunity to cover the performance of the film actor THE MOON on the second day of the first fancon session.

In this event, which lasted for about two hours, Kyungsoo not only showed his talent, but also his charm that guaranteed to make his fans fall even more in love. Here are some beautiful memories that Kyungsoo gave to everyone who had the opportunity to attend this fancon event.

1. Kyungsoo is Eating The CD

Kyungsoo is known primarily as a singer, specifically as a member and main vocalist of EXO. So it's certain that this fancon was also opened with Kyungsoo's beautiful voice, known for his ability in riffs and runs while singing. The event started with the song Mars and the audience shouted the fanchant while singing along.

Kyungsoo loves food. He has always shown his love with fried rice. He was really happy when he finally got to eat his favorite menu again.

What's special this time is that Kyungsoo had the opportunity to enjoy Indonesian food recommended by fans. He showed photos of soto Betawi, martabak, and oxtail soup that he had tried.

About soto Betawi. At first, he thought it would be like curry, but it turned out not to be, and it tasted really good even though the broth was light.

When the photo of martabak appeared on the screen, Kyungsoo immediately showed his admiration for this food. He didn't expect martabak to be that delicious, and he almost ate a whole box.

He also said that oxtail soup is really tasty. He thinks it's similar to Korean food, but oxtail soup is even better.

As for fried rice, Kyungsoo said it's still the champion in his heart. He admitted that if he had to choose from all the food he had eaten, fried rice would be number one.

3. Chemistry with MC Indra Herlambang

Indra Herlambang is trusted as the guide for the talking session at this Bloom fancon. Actually, this is not the first meeting between Indra and Kyungsoo, they have previously been in the same event at Scarlet Glow To You Meet and Greet last year.

When Indra appears and always makes an effort to wear a costume similar to Kyungsoo's, the actor of the drama BAD PROSECUTOR always welcomes the MC with enthusiasm and a radiant smile. They feel like besties.

Especially Indra, who is indeed a favorite MC of K-Pop fans, is also an admirer of Kyungsoo. He can't help but admire Kyungsoo every time he finishes singing. Indra and Kyungsoo even danced together to the song Popcorn, entertaining the fans with their harmony.

4. About MY ANNOYING BROTHER Remake

For those who don't know, one of Kyungsoo's films, MY ANNOYING BROTHER, will be remade in Indonesia. Kyungsoo admitted that he only found out about this when he was in Indonesia, which surprised and touched him.

Kyungsoo also said that if there is a chance, he would like to watch the Indonesian version of MY ANNOYING BROTHER. Kyungsoo also expressed his gratitude to Indonesian filmmakers who are willing to remake MY ANNOYING BROTHER.

It turns out that the content of this video is the social actions carried out by his fans in Indonesia on behalf of Kyungsoo. The social actions include donating to Palestine, planting mangroves, preserving the ocean, adopting orangutans, and providing food for those in need.

Kyungsoo didn't expect that his fans were truly extraordinary like this until he felt touched. He also mentioned that the released Nemo fish in the ocean and the orangutans adopted by fans in his name are his 'children'.
