Kapanlagi.com - The supernatural mystery series 'LIGHT SHOP', consisting of eight episodes from the creator of 'MOVING', will premiere on December 4, 2024, exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar. Adapted from the popular webtoon by Kangfull with the same title, 'LIGHT SHOP' tells the story of six strangers, each grappling with traumatic events from their past.
As they go about their daily lives, they slowly realize that something is wrong, but they do not know what it is. Desperate for answers and a way back to normal life, the strangers are drawn to a mysterious light shop at the end of a creepy alley, which holds the key to their past, present, and future.
Filled with mystery and intrigue, 'LIGHT SHOP' will take viewers on an emotional adventure through its unique and heart-wrenching premise.

'LIGHT SHOP' stars Joo Ji-hoon ('BLOOD FREE', 'KINGDOM', 'THE SPY GONE NORTH') as Jung Wonyoung, the owner of a lighting store; Park Bo Young, ('STRONG GIRL BONG-SOON', 'OH MY GHOST') as a nurse whose life changes forever after a near-death experience; Bae Sung Woo ('VETERAN', 'THE KING') as a detective; Lee Jung Eun ('PARASITE') as a desperate mother; and Kim Min Ha ('PACHINKO', 'INVESTIGATION PARTNERS') as the screenwriter Sunhae. The series is adapted for television by Kangfull ('MOVING') and directed by Kim Hiewon.
Continuing the global success of 'MOVING' by Kangfull, 'LIGHT SHOP' is one of the most anticipated series. First released in 2023, 'MOVING' then became the most-watched international original series on Disney+ Hotstar and Hulu*, and has been enjoyed by many fans around the world.
After its release, 'LIGHT SHOP' will join the ever-growing collection of award-winning Korean content now available on Disney+ Hotstar, including popular series such as 'MOVING, 'BIG BET', and 'THE WORST OF EVIL'.
