Excitement of Lights for Soul to Celebrate BTS 9th Anniversary, ARMY Bomb Wave Followed by More Than 2500 Fans!

Kapanlagi.com - June can be said to be BTS month, as this is the month when BTS debuted and celebrated their debut anniversary. ARMYs around the world, including Indonesia, celebrated with great joy. One of them is Indonesian ARMY who participated in the celebration by lighting up the BTS fandom color lightstick, which is purple.

Lights for Soul was held on June 26, 2022 at the Jakarta International Velodrome. The main event of this project is Lights for Soul, which is lighting up thousands of lightsticks simultaneously as a symbol of bright light and solidarity to encourage greater awareness of mental health issues. 

1. Army Bomb Wave Lights for Soul

Lights for Soul is here to be a light, friend, and provide a hug for those in need. So that those who have concerns about their mental health can have a space to open up and get answers to what they feel.

Bakbak Entertainment collaborated with Nunchitan, and Bulletproof Talk Series as the organizers of this project, bringing 'lights' which means light, it is hoped that it can be a light for everyone who feels 'darkness' and anxiety about the problems they are facing.

More than 2500 ARMYs participated in the Army Bomb Wave at Lights for Soul last Saturday. Jakarta International Velodrome was filled with purple that night. Guided by MC Biondy, Light for Seoul officially began with a dance cover performance from Attics Studio. Of course, their performance immediately received a super enthusiastic response from the ARMYs present.

Entering the talk show session discussing mental health issues, Mrs. Vensya Sitohang, Director of Mental Health at the Ministry of Health and Nadya Desita Siregar from BTS ARMY Help Center Indonesia were also present. They invited all ARMYs who came to be more aware of mental health issues, but stressed not to self-diagnose.

2. Exciting Events From Bazaar to Noraebang

The event held from 12 noon to 8 pm was really exciting and not boring. Because it's not just the ARMY Bomb Wave project that was held that night. The ARMYs who came could also enjoy a bazaar from dozens of tenants, to K-Pop karaoke with Friday Noraebang.

The ARMYs were really serious about making a hand banner for BTS, as proof of their love for OT7. They also wore unofficial BTS merchandise that was adorable.

3. Cheered By Gangga and HIVI!

In addition to performances from Friday Noraebang, since the afternoon, Indonesian ARMYs could enjoy performances from guest stars, namely Gangga and HIVI! The ARMYs also went crazy with Gangga who performed with his guitar.

After going crazy with Gangga, HIVI! performed with their hit songs from Satu-satunya to Jatuh, Bangkit Kembali! The ARMYs sang along with Ilham, Neida, Febrian, and Ezra while turning on their purple lightsticks. The sea of purple adorned Jakarta International Velodrome that day.
