Exclusive Interview with U-KNOW, Discussing 'NOIR' Album and Sentimental Side as an Artist with Over 17 Years of Work

Kapanlagi.com - U-KNOW officially made a solo comeback by releasing his second mini album titled NOIR. Carrying the concept of Cinematic Album, where each track in the album has a video like a film. Leader of TVXQ certainly succeeded in making fans excited by releasing Film Tracks Need You Right Now, Loco (House Party), La Rosa ft Shin Ye Eun, and Time Machine. Followed by the release of the MV for the title track THANK U which became the main highlight featuring popular actor Hwang Jung Min. The release of the film tracks is closed with the MV Eeny Meeny featuring Seulgi Red Velvet.

KapanLagi Korea had the opportunity to conduct an exclusive interview with U-KNOW. The idol who has been debut for more than 17 years revealed details about his new album, as well as the more sentimental side where he became one of the legendary senior idols who certainly have high expectations from the public for U-KNOW Yunho. U-KNOW Yunho: Hi KapanLagi, I'm U-KNOW YUNHO. This time I will answer questions from KapanLagi about my new album, NOIR. Watch until the end~

KapanLagi Korea: 3 words to express NOIR?

U-KNOW Yunho: Insomnia, Need You Right Now, and Thank U.

KapanLagi Korea: What distinguishes the album NOIR from your first solo album that you want to show?

U-KNOW Yunho: It tells the story of a guy who expresses his deep feelings a lot. Although not explicitly, but it fits with any genre. I think in some aspects of this album, we can feel the likes, anger, and sorrow of a guy.

KapanLagi Korea: It has been a long time since your debut, is there a different perspective on the meaning of music or being an artist for U-KNOW?

U-KNOW Yunho: Sometimes I feel anxious thinking about that. Sometimes I also feel empathy. I want to try new changes, and I think about whether I am becoming an artist. I should meet often, but the current situation doesn't support it. We must be able to become what fans want, on the other hand they will think that U-KNOW can become something unimaginable before.

That's what I thought. Can I become a good artist? The most important thing is seriousness. I think seriousness is the most important thing among all.
