Having specific criteria, this agency that houses BLACKPINK and iKON often rejects audition participants. Surprisingly, some of the participants they rejected have now become top artists.

1. Crush

Crush also once tried his luck at YG Entertainment by sending an audition video. Failing, he eventually joined Amoeba Culture and debuted as a solo artist. With a melodious voice, he is now considered the best R&B artist in Korea.

2. Wendy - Red Velvet

As known, Wendy is one of the vocalists of Red Velvet who has a melodious voice. However, before joining her current group, Wendy was rejected by YG Entertainment when she auditioned at the agency. Trying again, she then auditioned at SM Entertainment and finally passed.

3. Hyunseung

Former BEAST member had to swallow the bitter disappointment of being rejected during an audition at YG Entertainment. Still wanting to become an idol, he then joined Cube Entertainment and debuted as one of the members of the boyband BEAST. Not only that, Hyunseung has also collaborated with Hyuna in a group called Trouble Maker.

4. Rain

Yang Hyun Suk said that Rain once auditioned at YG Entertainment, but he was not accepted. After that, Rain debuted as a solo artist under JYP Entertainment. Being one of the most successful solo singers in Korea, Rain now has his own agency named Rain Company.

5. Chung Ha

Before participating in PRODUCE 101, Chung Ha also auditioned at YG Entertainment but unfortunately, she was rejected by the agency. Despite that, she remained determined and auditioned again for singing at MNH Entertainment. Accepted, she is now actively pursuing a solo career after previously debuting with I.O.I in 2016.

6. Park Bo Gum

Park Bo Gum also once auditioned at YG Entertainment by sending a video. He failed to capture the hearts of the judges, and ultimately failed to debut at the agency. Now, the 27-year-old man is known as a talented Korean actor after successfully starring in several dramas such as REPLY 1988. Yang Hyung Suk himself once expressed his regret for not choosing Park Bo Gum's audition video.

7. Honey Lee

The beautiful woman once tried to audition by sending a video, but unfortunately she was still not lucky enough to join Yang Hyun Suk's agency. She has achieved success and is now known as a top actress, and even represented Korea in the MISS UNIVERSE 2007.
