A week ago, not many people have heard of the name SOLIA. But on Sunday (22/8/2021), suddenly this girlgroup's name became the talk of K-Pop fans on social media. This happened after many were surprised that SOLIA had to disband just five days after their debut in the K-Pop world. It's really unfortunate because they are talented. Let's get to know the members of SOLIA a little bit!
SOLIA debuted with the song Dream on August 17, 2021. Although their song was considered catchy by K-Pop fans, there were also many criticisms for their MV which was deemed poorly made.
SOLIA itself is an abbreviation for Special Our Light Influence Artists. Previously, they were supposed to debut under the names About Me and ISOM.
This is Soree who is positioned as the leader. This 26-year-old woman is a member of the dance group Remember and a professional cheerleader.
Hayeon was previously a member of SIOSIJAK. She also works at a coffee shop.
Just like Hayeon, Seona was also a former member of SIOSIJAK. This woman, whose real name is Sunyoung, is the main vocalist in SOLIA.
Soyeon is a member of the dance group Remember, just like Soree. This 24-year-old woman has blood type O.
Eunbi, who is 23 years old, is the maknae in SOLIA. She was also a former member of SIOSIJAK and has a dolphin tattoo on her body.
SOLIA announced their disbandment after their agency, Space Music, faced financial problems even though they had just debuted five days ago. Best of luck to all SOLIA members in the future!
