Jeon Yoo Seong, the legendary Korean comedian known as the "Godfather of Comedy," passed away on September 25, 2025. He breathed his last at Jeonbuk University Hospital around 9:05 PM KST.

His daughter was the only family member who faithfully accompanied him until the end. The funeral ceremony took place on September 28, 2025, at Asan Seoul Hospital, led by the Korean Comedy Association.
