Unpleasant news comes from the singer and K-Pop icon, G-Dragon. His concert scheduled to take place in Bangkok, Thailand as part of the world tour titled Ubermensch, has officially been canceled. This decision was announced recently through an official statement from the agency, and it surprised fans who have long awaited the presence of their idol.
Since ticket sales for the concert in Thailand have not yet started, fans do not need to go through the refund process. No additional procedures are required, so at least there is no financial loss suffered by the fans.
Although the performance was canceled, G-Dragon still showed a professional attitude and appreciation. Through his personal statement, the leader of BIGBANG expressed his deep gratitude to his fans in Thailand.
"We greatly appreciate your support and hope to meet again soon," G-Dragon sincerely stated, as if emphasizing that Thailand remains one of the important countries for his career.
Galaxy Corp. explained the reason for the cancellation of G-Dragon's concert in Bangkok. All of this was done to prioritize the safety and health of the fans.
Currently, the city of Bangkok is experiencing an extreme heatwave, while the planned concert location is an open stadium. Several people have suffered heatstroke due to the unusual heatwave.
Alternative time and place for the concert will be announced later, taking into account the hot weather conditions and the ongoing rainy season.
Since the opening of the tour, G-Dragon has successfully held concerts in various countries, including Japan, the Philippines, Macau, and Australia. And soon it will be the turn of Indonesian fans to meet G-Dragon!
