Ga In Brown Eyed Girls Proven to be an Artist Fined for Using Propofol, Agency Apologizes

According to Soompi, Ga In was fined 1 million won or around Rp 12.8 million for using propofol in July and August 2019. Ga In's involvement in this drug case was known due to the arrest of a plastic surgeon who was imprisoned for the illegal sale of anesthesia, including to Ga In. It was also revealed that this doctor injected propofol into Ga In and three other individuals.

After this news circulated, Ga In's agency, Mystic Story, issued an apology statement. The agency admitted their mistake for not providing a better solution for Ga In who was facing difficult times.

2. Agency's Apology

The agency explained Ga In's condition, which led to her use of propofol, and apologized for allowing their artist to be in this situation. They also apologized to the fans, and the agency acknowledged their responsibility for this case.

"Due to the accumulation of small and big problems that Ga In has faced over the years, she suffered from wounds, depression, and sleep disorders, which led her to make chaotic decisions. Despite the personal issues that have been hurting her for several years due to unexplained reasons, the artist and agency, who should have been together, couldn't find a method to help her out of the pain. We feel responsible as her agency.
