Kapanlagi.com - Prime Video today announced that the Korean black comedy thriller series titled THE KIDNAPPING DAY, produced by AStory, will be available on Prime Video in Indonesia and over 240 countries and territories worldwide starting from September 13.
Consisting of 12 episodes, this series will bring new episodes every Wednesday and Thursday. Adapted from the Korean novel of the same name, THE KIDNAPPING DAY tells the story of the collaboration between a clumsy kidnapper and a genius child when they get involved in an unexpected situation.
Audiences can expect thrilling comedy and twists and turns as they both seek the truth behind the mystery and murder. Director Park Yu Young, who participated in MODEL FAMILY, LOVE ALARM SEASON 2, and KINGDOM SEASON 1, will lead this series, along with screenwriter Kim Je Young, who previously worked on MISS WIFE, INSANE, and CHEESE IN THE TRAP.

Yoon Kye Sang, Park Sung Hoon, Kim Shin Rok, and newcomer Yoo Na are the main cast members in THE KIDNAPPING DAY. Yoon Kye Sang, who recently starred in KISS SIXTH SENSE, will play the desperate father named Kim Myeong Jun. He decides to kidnap Ro Hee to pay for his daughter's hospital bills.
Park Sung Hoon, who acted in THE GLORY, will portray Park Sang Yun, a detective investigating the kidnapping. The newcomer Yoo Na, selected among 500 audition participants, will play a cynical and brilliant child named Choi Ro Hee. Kim Shin Rok, who acted in REBORN RICH, will play Myeong Jun's former wife, Seo Hye Eun, who suggests the kidnapping.
