Aespa embraces a futuristic concept. Within the aespa concept, there are two worlds, the real world and the virtual world. In the real world, there are 4 members, Karina, Giselle, Winter, and Ningning. Meanwhile, in the virtual world called FLAT, there are 4 avatar members of aespa named æ-Karina, æ-Winter, æ-Giselle, and æ-Ningning. These 4 avatars living in the FLAT dimension are characters with Artificial Intelligence abilities.
