As we enter a new month, it means there will be new Korean dramas ready to air. Here are 8 Korean dramas that will air in October, ready to add to your watch list!

1. THE DEAL

The beginning of October will be opened with the latest drama in the criminal thriller genre, THE DEAL. This drama is reported to premiere on October 6, 2023. THE DEAL drama itself is an adaptation of an award-winning Webtoon with the same title. The production of this drama successfully cast three Korean actors as the main cast, namely Yoo Seung Ho as Lee Jong Sung, Kim Dong Hwi as Song Jae Hyo, and Yoo Soo Bin as Park Min Woo. 

It will tell the story of the reunion of three people who were once friends during school. They finally meet again after a long time. The surprising thing is when two of them have a plan to kidnap their friend. This drama will premiere on Wavve on October 6.

2. STRONG GIRL NAM SOON

Will be a spin-off drama from the popular drama STRONG GIRL BONG SOON, the latest drama STRONG GIRL NAM SOON will air in October. This drama will tell the story of Kang Nam Soon's journey in facing the problems in his life. It is told that when Nam Soon was a child, he got lost in Mongolia and as he grew up, he tried to find his biological parents. Nam Soon travels to South Korea.

The upcoming Korean drama titled A GOOD DAY TO BE A DOG is an adaptation of a Webtoon story by Lee Hye. This drama will be a rom-com genre that tells the story of Han Hae Na, a teacher who is cursed by her ancestors. This curse will transform her into a dog every night until sunrise after she kisses someone. Hae Na's curse can be lifted if someone kisses her while she is in human form.

The drama A GOOD DAY TO BE A DOG is planned to air on October 11 and will be released on MBC television channel. In addition, this drama has successfully cast famous actors as the main cast, namely Park Gyu Young as Han Hae Na and handsome actor Cha Eunwoo as Jin Seo Won.

4. EVILIVE

Drama EVILIVE will be the latest drama to air on October 14th and will be in the genres of action, thriller, and crime. Drama EVILIVE tells the story of Han Dong Soo, a poor lawyer who turns into a criminal after meeting a villain, Seo Do Young.

Drama EVILIVE will be directed by Kim Jung Min, a director of popular dramas BAD GUYS, SQUAD 38, and REMARRIAGE & DESIRE. In addition, this drama will also star famous Korean actors, such as Shin Jae Ha as Han Beom Jae, Kim Young Kwang as Seo Do Young, and Shin Ha Kyun as Han Dong Soon. This drama will be released on Genie TV and ENA.

5. DOONA!

The latest drama of the beautiful actress Suzy DOONA! will soon be aired in October. The drama DOONA! will be an adaptation of the Webtoon THE GIRL DOWNSTAIRS in the rom-com genre. This drama tells the story of the romance between former idol Lee Doo Na and new student Lee Woon Joon, who accidentally live together.

The drama DOONA! is scheduled to air on October 20, 2023, and will be released on the Netflix platform. It will be starred by Bae Suzy as Lee Doo Na and Yang Se Jong as Lee Won Joon. This drama is scheduled to air on October 21, 2023, on the Netflix and tvN platforms.

7. MOON IN THE DAY

Drama MOON IN THE DAY will add to the next list of dramas that will air in October. This drama will be a romantic fantasy genre and an adaptation of a popular Webtoon. In addition, this drama will tell the heartbreaking love story that spans 1,500 years and will take place between the past and the present.

It will air on October 25, 2023, and will be starred by Korean actor Kim Young Dae who will play two roles, Han Jun Oh and Do Ha. Pyo Ye Jin will be the main actress opposite Young Dae, as Kang Young Hwa and Ha Ni Ta. Drama MOON IN THE DAY will be released on ENA.  

8. PERFECT MARRIAGE REVENGE

Drama PERFECT MARRIAGE REVENGE will be the next drama to air at the end of October 2023. This drama will be an adaptation of a popular Webtoon with the same title. It will revolve around revenge, and it tells the story of a woman named Han Yi Joo who decides to enter into a contract marriage with a man named Seo Do Guk in order to seek revenge on her original husband. Drama PERFECT MARRIAGE REVENGE stars Korean actor Jung Yoo Min as Han Yi Joo and Sung Hoon as Seo Do Guk. This drama is scheduled to air on October 28 on MBN.
