[Interview] STAYC About 'I WANT IT' and SWITH Indonesia, Bringing Excitement in Summer

1. This special single I WANT IT feels truly special, especially since it was announced suddenly. According to you, besides the surprising comeback announcement that feels like a sweet treat, what makes I WANT IT truly special?

J:
We really wanted to release a summer song and wanted to try something fun, a cheerful song full of summer vibes. So I'm extra happy that we could do it.

2. The first teaser photo for I WANT IT gives off a super summer vibe. Can you share exciting moments from the shooting and photoshoot at the beach?

YOON:
I’m half excited and half worried because this is our first time shooting abroad for an album. However, I remember how the members and I enjoyed a lot of delicious fruits and really enjoyed the shoot. In particular, there was a brief scene where we lay on lounge chairs after dancing on the beach, and I remember how we dipped our feet into the sea and enjoyed that cool moment.

3. In your opinion, what is something that should be done and eaten when summer arrives?

SEEUN:
Hwachae watermelon (a traditional South Korean drink). It's cold and sweet, making it perfect for hot summer days.

4. The teaser video for I WANT IT is also very cute, with a retro short film style. What did you think when you saw the video and which part was your favorite?

ISA:
My favorite part is when we sing that signature part together. It feels like saying, "We’ve arrived!" and I can feel the positive energy overflowing from the screen.

5. Recently, STAYC held a concert in Indonesia. What do you miss the most about Indonesia that makes you want to come back here?

SIEUN:
Of course, SWITH Indonesia. I am not exaggerating at all. They gave us incredible love during the concert and it was very touching. I didn't expect them to sing, dance, and cheer that loudly beyond my imagination. I was truly amazed. Thank you and love you so much, Indonesia SWITH, see you~!

6. Give suggestions for SWITH Indonesia, when is the perfect time to listen to I WANT IT?
