DRIPPIN is a boy group formed by Woollim Entertainment. This group was previously known as Woolim Rookies and W Project 4. DRIPPIN is led by Hyeop, Yunseong, Changuk, Dongyun, Minseo, Junho, and Alex, where 6 out of 7 members participated in PRODUCE X 101. DRIPPIN debuted on October 28, 2020, with a mini album titled 'BOYAGER' and their main song 'Nostalgia'. On April 18, 2021, DRIPPIN announced their fandom name as 'DREAMIN'. They revealed it directly through the V-LIVE platform.
The oldest member of DRIPPIN is Lee Hyeop. He was born on August 13, 1999, and his position in the group is vocalist. It is known that Lee Hyeop joined Woollim Entertainment after the end of PRODUCE X 101.
Next is Hwang Yunseong, who was born on October 30, 2000. He officially changed his name from Hwang Dongwook to Hwang Yunseong when he was in 4th grade. In DRIPPIN, he is responsible as a vocalist and dancer. His name became well-known after participating in the program PRODUCE X 101 and ranking 18th. Previously, Yunseong was a back dancer for BTS during their performance of 'Not Today' at Gayo Daejun.
Then there is Joo Changuk, who was born on July 25, 2001. He also participated in the survival show PRODUCE X 101 but was eliminated in episode 11 and only ranked 29th. In the group, he holds the positions of lead vocalist and lead dancer.
Then there is Kim Dongyun who was born on February 18, 2002. Dongyun also participated in PRODUCE X 101 and ranked 23rd. He was selected to be the rapper in the group.
Kim Minseo, born on May 9, 2002. Of course, Minseo also became one of the trainee participants in PRODUCE X 101 and only ranked 52nd. He was recruited by Woollim Entertainment after his school promotion video went viral in South Korea.
There is Cha Junho, born on July 9, 2002. He successfully debuted as a member of X1, which was the final round of the PRODUCE X 101 program. Unfortunately, the group did not last long and disbanded on January 6, 2020.
The last one is Alex, who was born on October 6, 2004. He has Korean-German descent with the original name Alexander Vincent Schmidt. His father is from Germany and his mother is from South Korea. He became a new hidden member announced by Woollim Entertainment on September 10, 2020.Â
