Introducing Hallyu to a wider audience, KOCCA Indonesia holds a Fansign event with actor Ji Chang Wook at KOREA 360

Kapanlagi.com - KOCCA Indonesia held the 'Ji Chang Wook Fansign Event in KOREA 360' at the Main Atrium of the Korean Cultural Promotion Center in Indonesia, KOREA 360, located at LOTTE Mall Jakarta on May 12, 2024. One of its aims is to revitalize the joint export value of industries related to K-Content. KOCCA has established a system of collaboration between government agencies and has implemented various support projects such as holding K-Expo exhibitions, establishing Korean Cultural Promotion Centers overseas (KOREA 360), and running Hallyu Marketing projects.

In particular, the Hallyu Marketing project is carried out by several relevant institutions in supporting the creation of product placement advertisements or PPL (Product Placement), as well as promotional content for leading industries such as food or consumer goods within K-Content that have high popularity overseas.

KOCCA Indonesia hopes that through this event, it can provide a little appreciation to loyal visitors of KOREA 360 as the Korean Cultural Promotion Center in Indonesia, especially Hallyu fans who sincerely love and support Korean content. KOREA 360, as a center for promoting Korean culture, was established to support the promotion and overseas expansion of Hallyu content and related Korean industries. KOREA 360 has been operating since December 2022 with the support of a collaboration of 9 government agencies, including the Korea Creative Content Agency, Korean Cultural Center Indonesia, Korea Tourism Organization, Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency, Korea AgroFisheries & Food Trade Corporation, Korea International Trade Association, Korea Cosmetic Industry Institute, Korea Institute of Design Promotion, and Korean Foundation for International Cultural Exchange.

1. Not Just a Fansign, Ji Chang Wook Will Also Perform Handprinting Process

The series of events 'Ji Chang Wook Fansign Event in KOREA 360' will begin with a press conference. Ji Chang Wook will be present and answer questions about the purpose of his visit to KOREA 360 and his plans in Indonesia. This press conference will also be attended by the Regional Director of KOCCA Indonesia, Kim Young Soo. Next, actor Ji Chang Wook will perform the handprinting ceremony at COLLECT Town KOREA 360. In total, there are 138 handprints of Korean artists and actors in the Korea Cultural Promotion Center in Indonesia, including Ji Chang Wook's handprint.

Before starting the Fansign session, actor Ji Chang Wook will greet fans who are present at the Main Atrium of KOREA 360 through a mini quiz and a brief conversation about the latest news. The Fansign session will be attended by 100 people consisting of invited guests and fans who have completed the 'K-Drama Product Hunt' Challenge as announced through the Instagram account @korea_360. In addition, KOREA 360 will also prepare more than 200 exclusive seats that will be filled by selected fans who have completed the same mission. Approximately 3000 fans have participated in this Challenge, showing great interest from Indonesian fans.
