After being out of the spotlight in the South Korean entertainment industry for quite some time, actor Jae Hee finally shared the story behind his hiatus that lasted for the past few years. The actor, who became popular through the legendary drama SASSY GIRL CHUN HYANG, appeared as a guest on the YouTube channel of former member of the duo Country Kko Kko, Shin Jung Hwan.

Jae Hee is known as one of the shining Korean actors of the 2000s. His name skyrocketed through the drama SASSY GIRL CHUN HYANG in 2005 alongside Han Chae Young. The drama was a huge success with ratings surpassing 30 percent and made Jae Hee one of the brightest young stars at that time.

Jae Hee's popularity continued through several other projects such as the film FIGHTING SPIRIT, WITCH YOO HEE, DELICIOUS PROPOSAL, and MAY QUEEN. He is also known for actively starring in feature films and television series for many years. However, after starring in the daily drama BE A MEAL in 2021, Jae Hee slowly faded from the public eye.

In his interview, the actor born in 1980 admitted that the decision to star in a daily drama brought significant changes to his career path. "I thought starring in a family drama that many people watch would be something meaningful," said Jae Hee.

After the project was completed, he began to feel unexpected changes. The project offers that usually came slowly began to change. Jae Hee admitted that some parties in the industry still hold the view that actors who appear in daily dramas are considered to have a decline in their career level.
