According to Soompi, on Monday (27/7/2020), sources from the drama industry reported that Ji Chang Wook will be starring in a short drama that will be aired on KakaoTV, CITY COUPLE'S WAY OF LOVE (translated title). The actor's agency then released a statement regarding this news.

"He has received the offer and is currently considering it," said Ji Chang Wook's agency, Glorious Entertainment.

Besides Ji Chang Wook, who is also mentioned to act in CITY COUPLE'S WAY OF LOVE, is Kim Ji Won. The last time she acted in the drama ARTHDAL CHRONICLES. Kim Ji Won's agency has also responded to this news.

"The possibility of Kim Ji Won's appearance in the new drama CITY COUPLE'S WAY OF LOVE is currently being positively discussed," said the actress's agency, SALT Entertainment.

CITY COUPLE'S WAY OF LOVE is planned to have 12 episodes. Each episode will only last for 25 minutes and there is potential for a second season. According to reports, filming is set to begin in October and will be aired on KakaoTV in November.

This drama will be directed by Park Shin Woo, who is currently working on IT'S OKAY TO NOT BE OKAY. The script is written by Jang Hyun Jung, who previously worked on the series I NEED ROMANCE and DISCOVERY OF LOVE. Jang Hyun Jung will collaborate with Jung Da Yeon.
