On Friday (26/6/2020), the news of Jung So Min and Lee Joon's breakup was reported by Dispatch, which often reports on matters related to Korean celebrity love stories. As reported by Soompi, close acquaintances of both artists have informed that Jung So Min and Lee Joon have broken up.
"They have just broken up," said one source.
"They have decided to maintain a good relationship and support each other as fellow actresses and actors," said another source.
Not long after the report from Dispatch, their respective agencies confirmed that Jung So Min and Lee Joon have indeed broken up. "Lee Joon and Jung So Min have just broken up. Lee Joon plans to meet the public through a good project," said the actor's agency, PrainPTC.
Meanwhile, Jung So Min's agency, Blossom Entertainment, also made a similar statement. "Jung So Min and Lee Joon have just broken up. They have decided to remain colleagues."
Dispatch then reported again the explanation they received from a source close to Lee Joon and Jung So Min. "They have been separated for a long time. Because they are both busy, they have grown apart from each other. They finally decided to focus on their individual activities," said the source.
Lee Joon and Jung So Min met while playing together in the popular KBS drama, FATHER IS STRANGE. After that, they decided to date in October 2017. Their relationship became known to the public a few months later.
