KBS Speaks Out About Not Inviting Junsu JYJ to Music Bank, Reveals Difficulties in Explaining the Reason

Kapanlagi.com - Fans Junsu JYJ recently gathered several petitions uploaded on the KBS viewer rights website, requesting that their idol be able to perform on music shows like Music Bank.

As it is known, Junsu JYJ was not invited to Music Bank. Despite the fact that the show usually features various singers to promote their latest songs.

KBS responded to the petitions, stating that they find it difficult to explain this issue.

1. Difficult to Explain

In response to the petitions, Kim Kwang Soo, the head producer of KBS, released a statement. Kim Kwang Soo stated that Music Bank is a program that determines its rankings based on weekly album sales, digital sales, TV broadcasts, and viewer choices. However, they did not provide a detailed explanation as to why Junsu JYJ was not invited to the show.

"It is difficult for us to explain why we do not include one artist over another. If we have to explain why we did not invite a certain artist, the artist or fans may criticize us. No broadcaster wants to explain why they did not invite a certain artist to a music show," explained KBS as reported by Soompi.

"KBS will continue to provide fair opportunities to various artists. We ask for your attention and support. Thank you," they added.

2. Comeback Junsu JYJ

Kim Junsu made a comeback on November 10th with the mini album PIT A PAT and is currently promoting the song with the same title. This petition is a demand for justice that has successfully gathered over 300 voices in agreement for the idol to be able to perform again on KBS.

C-JeS Entertainment, as the agency of Kim Junsu, has responded to the head producer of KBS. The agency stated that they have asked why their artist was not invited to music shows. The agency expressed their dissatisfaction with being considered as lacking the desire to perform.
