Keita is one of the Japanese idols who will soon debut in South Korea. Previously, he debuted with the boy group CIIPHER, under Rain Company. However, the group can be considered less noticed by the public, and Keita tried his luck by participating in the survival show BOYS PLANET.
In BOYS PLANET, Keita did not make it into the debut lineup of the main group ZEROBASEONE. Keita successfully made it to the final round and stayed at 12th place.
Although he did not join the debut team, Keita managed to attract fans' attention and became one of the favorite participants.
With Jellyfish Entertainment, Keita will debut with 6 other participants in the Spin Off group BOYS PLANET.Â
The Spin Off group is called EVNNE, consisting of Keita, Park Hanbin, Lee Jeonghyeon, Ji Yunseo, Yoo Seungeon, Mun Junghyun, and Park Jihoo.
EVNNE itself is scheduled to debut on September 19, 2023, with the release of the mini album TARGET: ME.
Officially in their group's live broadcast, Keita has officially been chosen as the Leader of EVNNE. Keita stated, "I finally become the leader of EVNNE, I will work hard in the future".
Previously, Keita also attracted attention by participating in YG TREASURE BOX. Along with other Japanese trainees, he joined Team J, but unfortunately did not make it to the debut team TREASURE.
